Transport in Miami
Getting around Miami is relatively easy using public transport even though the most popular areas are a little spread out. With it's large international airport, buses and trains and the free shuttles between them traveling in and out of Miami is pretty easy. Buses run most of the day in Miami on a number of different routes and are very inexpensive. 22 miles of elevated rapid transit was built as Miami's Metrorail and gives you the ability to visit some of the surrounding areas. While there are a number of taxi services, don't expect it to be as easy to hail a cab as in places like New York or London, and they are not well known for showing up on time. When renting a car, getting a convertible so you can enjoy the sun or an exotic car like a Bentley or Porsche for showing off at night will make your trip even better.
