Tour Guide To Hannover
Hannover is named the biggest city forest of Europe. There are lots of gatherings and events that Hannover hosts but that's not all that it presents. Places within this wonderful town consist of a lot of castles and places of worship and even two town halls, one is old and famous and the other, new.
With the many castles, you need to discover the Castle of Hannover (naturally). It can be found in the old town of Celle exactly where the Dukes of Braunschweig-Luneburg had his house in 1378. No old components of the castle lasted though and what you're in fact looking at could be the castle rebuilt in 1530 in renaissance type by the Duke Ernst der Bekenner. The castles facade was even more developed by Duke Georg Wilhelm, the last duke to live here in the 18th century. Another fortress to check out in Hannover is the Castle Marienburg. This was created in between the years of 1857 and 1866 by King Georg V of Hannover as a gift to his spouse, Marie. The construction is of a Gothic style and seems like a fortress you'll find in mythic books. It right now contains a museum that displays things from the lives of Hannovrian kings and the Welfen.
In relation to church buildings, the Church of Idensen is one which you might see in Hannover. It is made in the Romanesque design with 4 altars which are consecrated to St. Ursula and the 11000 Virgins. On the inside, the surfaces are embellished with byzantine style fresco paintings by various popular painters in 1120-40. In the ancient settlement of Mandelsloh, they have a church there for many centuries. A new 1 was built though in 1175 that had a cross shaped basilica and low timber ceilings. The tower of the Church of Mandelsloh is made of ironstone that was added in the 15th century. Paintings enhance the interior of the church and among them, the 1425 piece of art of St. Osdag.
See the Aged Town Hall and the New Town Hall in Hannover. The old 1 was built over a period of more than 100 years. It describes the passage of time in Hannover and is a great symbol of its background. The New Town Hall was opened in June 20, 1913 but the architectural style through which it was constructed makes one think it is a relic from the time that Hannover was still a kingdom. To see a number of wild animals in Hannover, you must visit the Tiergarten. This is a recreational forest of 112 hectares that was created for hunting by Duke Johan Friedrich in 1678.
Climate: The climate in Hannover is mild and temperate year in and year out. For this reason, Hannover is a good city to visit any time of the year. Summers range from 20 to 22 degrees Celsius. Be warned that the days aren't always dry in Hannover as July and August are the months for thunderstorms.
Transportation: You can get around and see the sights in Hannover using the suburban railway. You can also take the bus to destinations within the city and its surroundings.
