The Better Way To Take Flight
Flying has become a major project. Sure you can get to your destination in an hour or two if you fly, but if you are taking a two hour flight on a commercial airline, you could be spending a day to do so. Spending seven to eight hours to fly for two seems extremely absurd and that is if there are no delays.
Just think about it. You start by taking a long drive to the airport, unless you are one of the few lucky ones. Then you arrive at the airport two to three hours before your flight. Once at the airport you need to find a place in the parking garage, get a shuttle to the airport check in location, check into your flight and get your bags checked in, receive your boarding passes and then head to the terminal for your flight. On your way to the terminal you will then need to wait on a long security checkpoint line before you can advance to your gate. Once you have arrived at your gate, you will most likely still have an hour wait before you board your flight and then another twenty to thirty minutes before the flight departs.
Once you have arrived at your destination you will then need to wait for the approval to disembark your flight. Once you leave your flight you need to make your way across the crowded airport to arrive at baggage claim. At baggage claim you will need to wait for anywhere up to an hour for your luggage to arrive on the conveyor belt so that you can get hem and finally head to your destination.
All totaled you have probably spent about 8 hours on traveling to your destination; but if you had flown via a private charter, you would have significantly reduced your travel time. The airports locations would have been closer to where you needed them to be. You would have been able to simply board your flight at the time you were scheduled to fly, and best of all there are no lines, no waiting and no security check points.
