Las Vegas Dining with the Chefs

Everything is in Vegas even when food is concerned. In Vegas, the combination of Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French and Pan-Asian is intoxicating, making you want to try everything. Different dining experiences from the casual, buffet, formal and specialty dining are a dime a dozen in Vegas. This isn’t a surprise due to the different industries found in the place that Vegas has become the epicenter of dining in Nevada and has many restaurants that can easily compete in terms of prestige worldwide. One should try the Lutece which is headed by world class Chef David Feau and is found in an equally world class setting, the Venetian. When a chef’s name is involved, Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill isn’t far behind too. Chef Andre Rochat continues to give us the wonders of his cooking with Andre’s, giving unique flavors to relatively wholesome food. Emeril Lagasse also has his own restaurant with his well known Creole twist with Delmonico Steakhouse. For an elegant dining experience which allows a view of the Las Vegas Strip, try dining at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at the 11th floor of the Eiffel Tower Replica in Paris Las Vegas or maybe the House of Blues n the highest observation tower in the US, the Stratosphere tower. Don’t be afraid to try some of the offerings of Las Vegas even if it might sound too exotic or different because there’s sure to be one that will be a celebration to the senses no matter how meticulous.

A list of things to do in Sin city

Vegas has always been famous for its casinos and entertainment hotels but there are still so many sights and sounds to the city that don’t necessarily involve handing some dollars. Watching the fountains at Bellagio, for one, is a classic experience one should not miss while in the city, as well as taking a dip in the Mirage Hotel’s pool, which tries to imitate the feel of an oasis in a desert (hence the name of the place) complete with waterfalls, palm trees, birds and slides for kids. Another go-to place is the Stratosphere, the tallest observation tower in the US that’s freestanding. Aside from the spectacular view, the tower also offers the highest roller coaster rides and a reverse bungee jump ride, which catapults the rider 160 feet above ground. The Liberace museum is a good place to start when you want to examine the arts and culture side of Las Vegas. It gives one a tour of the interesting pieces, costumes and stories attached to the famous pianist, as well as a peep at how Vegas used to live during his time. Even when you have champagne tastes with a beer budget, Vegas will give you more than what you expected even without you asking for it.

Cars for Rent in Las Vegas

The hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas traffic can sometimes get to you especially if you aren’t that used to it. Public transportation is daunting on a business trip or a vacation because taxis in the area are scarce because of the large number of people vying for their services. Renting a car is a convenient and hassle-free way to own your time as you go to your destination. Car Rental Services are a dime a dozen in the city of Las Vegas. Those who would like a little pizzazz in their cars will take a liking to Dream Car Rentals with convertible and exotic cars like Porsches, Hummers, Vipers and other SUV’s for rent. There’s also Budget Las Vegas, which offers different packages for different travel needs. Its fleet is made out of cars, vans and luxury cars for pickup. The ‘We Try Harder’ Group, Avis, also offers a different set of cars from its own fleet. When you have limited resources, Alamo can offer their services for as little as $20/day. If you still haven’t found a rental service to your liking yet, also try Dollar, Hertz, Thrifty, Payless and National Car Rental.

Family Vacations at Las Vegas

Even in Sin City, there are a lot of child and teen-friendly accommodations and attractions, so don’t mark off Vegas in the list of potential vacation places just yet. The accommodation is one of the most important areas to ensure the vacation is child-friendly. Many hotels in Las Vegas are casino hotels, so if it doesn’t seem to be the kind of crowd you want to expose your child in, then opt to stay in a cozier non-gaming resort instead. One of the prime places to visit with the little ones is the Stratosphere Tower. The Tower has fun and thrilling rides such as the highest roller coasters in the world and the reverse bungee jump ride that goes on air under five seconds. Take a cut down to the Showcase Mall to where the M&M world can be found, so the kids can store some candy for the long months ahead. Kids will also enjoy Ron Lee’s World of Clowns, the fountains at Bellagio, The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, Adventuredome, White Tiger Habitat and the Lion Habitat at MGM Grand. Guide your kids when visiting all these places. Make sure to keep those eyes open when in Vegas.
