Pack small toys and games that they can play with alone, or with you if you like to play with them. Hand held games are good and can keep them occupied for a long time. Books are also good, and depending on your child's attention span, one that is a little tougher then they liker to read can make for a more engrossing reading time. You should try and travel at night, since you will have a better chance of them sleeping through some of the trip. This can make it easier on you since you are not having to keep them occupied the whole time and can rest yourself.
