Once you've worked the headache off perhaps some more happening pursuits will suit the stag party. gorge scrambling, whitewater rafting, off-road racing and paintball games are all on offer here. Alternatively the Blackpool Pleasure Beach is just up the road and unlimited ride passes make for a cheap thrill-packed day.

The old Docklands have now been revamped into a host of shops, bars and clubs along the waterside. There are loads of places to eat before the serious entertainment begins.

Liverpool has a fantastic club scene which is necessary for any notable stag party. The other great thing about Liverpool is that drinks are exceedingly cheap here. lager, cocktails, Guinness and wine all flow freely. Liverpool is a exceedingly compact cities central district which makes getting around exceedingly easy.


The Grapes Pub is opposite the Cavern Club and the Beatles would pop in for a beverage before their gig. The same wallpaper hangs behind the same seat, so it's a great starting destination for a Liverpool pub crawl. There are some exceedingly smart lap-dancing clubs or appreciate the dance scene at the Camel Club.
