Puerto Vallarta Hotels and its Scuba Diving Packages

Every year from December to April, humpback whales pass through Puerto Vallarta for its annual trip to its migratory spot. This makes Puerto Vallarta an idyllic area to see some of the richest marine life population of manta rays, sea turtles, dolphins and whales. Although tourists mainly dominate the beaches, sea creatures rule Puerto Vallarta waters. Scuba diving packages are the most convenient ways to see the ocean as one does not need to set up a diving trip on his own while on vacation. Hotels such as the Playa Azul Golf Scuba Spa Hotel and Casa Velas include this in their list of activities available. The water package of Casa Velas includes snorkeling, kayaking, nature walks, yoga along with scuba diving. The Grand Velas Hotel has deep sea-fishing, whale watching and sailing with its package. Using inclusive packages will help one get into as many activities during the trip as possible, perfect for those “I want to do everything” type of vacationers.

Accommodations near Yelapa, Puerto Vallarta’s Famed Beaches

Yelapa, Mexico has long been a tourist hot spot and this isn’t such a surprise. This remote, slow paced village is dependent on its beach for things such as tourism and fishing. The place is part of the 7th largest bay in the world, Banderas Bay. Hang around its beach front or maybe do a little snorkeling in its clear water. Boutique Hotels have been sprouting out in the area and these, in comparison to more commercialized hotels, are more personalized and intimate. Verana, for example, is a rustic area which offers excellent food. As Yelapa is a town by the sea, it’s no wonder that Yelapa’s chef has access to some of the freshest fishes and crabs and these go well together with their famous margaritas which tourists keep coming back for. Hotel Lagunita is another boutique hotel that has more of a tropical feel to it. The area is quite remote and rooms don’t have televisions or telephones, so it’s more ideal for the adventurous, quiet types. Hotels such as Casa Rosa, Casa Sol and Yelapa Oasis are also great options to consider whilst in Yelapa.

Budget Accommodations in Puerto Vallarta

Although most of the Puerto Vallarta area has already been branded a tourist spot, there are still some cheap deals available for adventurous travelers. It is one of the cheapest sights available where one can actually enjoy sun, sand and nightclubs without spending a whole month’s paycheck. Accommodations are also close to equally cheap entertainment, nightspots, restaurants and other attractions. One place is Vallarta Sun Hotel which is owned by a couple who want to cater to adventurers and backpackers, being in the same category themselves. One can help himself to free breakfast and high speed internet in the lounge. Oasis Hostel, another great accommodation, is only a few minutes away from the downtown area of Puerto Vallarta. There’s also Hotel Bernal, Hotel Hortencia, Hotel Encino, Casa Corazon, Hotel Azteca, Hotel Suites la Siesta and Viva la Vida Hostel. Rates will be between $20. 00 to $30. 00 for single bed rooms but will lessen as Puerto Vallarta moves to its off peak season.

Puerto Vallarta Accommodations with Spas

Puerto Vallarta is a land of contrasting characteristics. On one hand, it can hold so many adventurous attractions like scuba diving and rappelling that one won’t know where to start. On the other hand, it can also provide vacationers with a tranquil environment ideal for relaxation. Puerto Vallarta can be all these to different kinds of travelers. Whatsoever the trip though, one will find that there spas make a relaxing end to the day. Most of the world class spas are in the hotels. Among these are Villa Premiere Hotel and Spa, Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Spa and Hacienda Hotel and Spa. Probably the most expensive but also with the most choices is Villa Premiere. It has an Oxigen Bar, their own version of an aromatherapy massage. And they also have organic treatments, body spas and hydrotherapies. The two other hotels are also worth a try and are ideal for those on a budget.
