Many of South Florida's attractions and unforgettable sites are easily done in a day trip from Miami, so make some incredible memories taking as many of these trips as possible. Key West is a world famous destination for scuba diving, fantastic sunsets and of course don't forget to try some delicious Key Lime Pie. In Everglades national park you can enjoy Florida's natural beauty and take an exhilarating airboat ride. Disney World and it's theme parks offer days of excitement and adventure for all ages. Fort Lauderdale offers a great beachfront and a water taxi tour showing off the million dollar waterfront mansions. Night clubs and all night entertainment can be found in Hollywood at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Native American souvenirs, shows and alligator wrestling can be found at Immokalee and the Big Cypress Indian reservation. Florida's west coast and Naples provides for a relaxing day of great shopping and beautiful beaches. At Dolphin Plus in Key Largo you can swim with Dolphins and Sea Lions, and the drive there alone is breathtaking. The Bahamas are closer than you think and you can take a cheap one day cruise to Grand Bahama Island for less than $150. If you want to get out on the water you can rent your own boat or charter an expensive yacht to relax, fish or party.

Beaches of Miami

Most visitors have spending time relaxing on the beach soaking up the sun and topping up their tan on top their list of things to do, so get it in early in your trip before you get caught up in all of the other activities Miami has to offer. South Beach is of course the most famous of the Miami Beaches and it is not uncommon to see photo shoots and filming for TV shows or a movie going on. Sunny Isles Beach features several of Donald Trumps famous oceanfront condo buildings including the 55 story Trump Palace Condos. Touring the lighthouse, fishing, swimming and sunbathing can all be enjoyed at Bill Baggs State Park located at the end of Key Biscayne. Just off of Rickenbacker Causeway by the Miami Seaquarium is Virginia Key Beach where you can relax on the sand and enjoy great views of Miami and Biscayne Bay. More great beaches can be found in a short drive at Key Largo, Key West, Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach.

Where to Relax Miami


Miami is full of great places to relax and these spots will make your trip a heavenly retreat. If lazing around with good music, food and rubbing shoulders with the stars helps you unwind, then B. E. D. offers all of this. The Venetian Pool in Coral Gables offers cool spring waters in a pool carved out of coral rock surrounded by Venetian style architecture. Stunning boats and yachts can be viewed as part of a great laid back day out at Miami's boat show. Numerous exotic treatments can be found at the wide variety of of day spas here and will make for a great day of spoiling yourself. Ocean Drive is lined with many restaurants, bars and cafes to escape the sun and dine on fantastic seafood. Of course there are many immaculate beaches to lay out on and improve your tan or take a dip in the ocean.

Tour Miami

Swim in the cool spring water at the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables which has waterfalls and coral caves and grottos and is surrounded by Venetian style architecture. South Beach's unforgettable pristine sand and crystal clear water is set against the backdrop of Ocean Drive, lined with cafes, bars and restaurants. Little Havana is full of culture with it's vibrant storefronts, cigars and Cuban coffee. Visit the amazing Vizcaya Museum and Gardens a national historic landmark which features ten acres of formal gardens. Only minutes from downtown Miami is Key Biscayne where you can fish, relax on the beach and visit the lighthouse. Star Island is home to many celebrities and stars and their amazing multimillion dollar homes. Hours of learning, creating and playing can be had for kids and Miami's Childrens Museum. Live dolphin and killer whale shows can be enjoyed at the Miami Seaquarium. Miami's science museum with it's many exhibits and shows is sure to provide a full day of entertainment for the whole family. Duck Tour's amphibious vehicles are an attraction themselves, and will give you a guided tour of Miami by land and water.
