Hunstanton Norfolk Boasts Award Winning Beaches
'Sunny Hunny' is the affectionate name given to Hunstanton - Norfolk. This area is a favorite holiday destination in England. It has a splendid seafront promenade, a funfair, pitch and putt golf, a bowling green, the Sea Life Sanctuary, and the beautiful Esplanade Gardens.
Hunstanton's seafront is lined with colorful stalls selling donuts, candy floss, ice creams, seaside rock and even spades and buckets. Everything is on hand to keep the whole family happy for a day of fun on the beach. To add to the atmosphere you can hear music drifting from the bandstand.

During 2008, the town was awarded 'recommended' status in the Quality Coast Awards. The following year, 2009, Hunstanton topped this when the MCS Good Beach Guide gave the beach the highest 'recommended' grading due to the superior quality of the sea water.
In addition to the high standard of the water, the beach was acclaimed for overall cleanliness, hygienic toilets, parking facilities, ample refuse bins, and access areas especially for pushchairs, prams and wheel chairs. For added safety, the beach is constantly patrolled during the summer. 'Lost child' and first aid services are also available.
You can view hundreds of types of sea inhabitants at the Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary on the south promenade. Take an eerie walk through a glass tunnel and see real sharks up close and personal. A visit to the Oasis Leisure Center is a must. There is an ice rink, heated swimming pools, tenpin bowling, a fitness studio, as well as aerobic and squash facilities.
