One of the biggest and most well known music events worldwide is the Miami Winter Music Conference aka WMC. The WMC dance gathering gives music fans from all over the world the opportunity to come and hear some of the best international DJs. This event incorporates dozens of different venues in Miami over five days. This year's line up included over 1,910 internationally acclaimed artists and DJs. This event began as a pure EDM (electronic dance music) event, but has grown to include other styles and types of music as well. In alliance with the Miami Winter Music Conference is Ultra Music Festival. This gathering descends in Miami at the end of March every year. Ultra Music Festival this year attracted over 85,000 party goers from over 56 different countries. The star studded line up this year included performances from artists such as Moby, Fat Boy Slim, The Prodigy, Carl Cox and Tiesto.
Buildings of Miami
The magnificent Miami skyline is full of many different styles and types of buildings with influences from many cultures. Of course the most famous area of Miami is probably the historic Art Deco District originally built in the 1900s which you can tour including 'Al Capone's Office'. Close to the airport, at the Dolphin Mall you can find over 200 stores and restaurants all under one roof.
