In fact, it is the best way to regulate your cholesterol. In addition, this natural remedy has no contraindications whatsoever in your body in comparison to pharmaceutical medicines.

Cholesterol Natural Remedies

The approach to cholesterol natural remedies is simple. You only need to focus on your nutrition and your exercise. These two areas are within your control. If you feed your body with the right food and you keep it active to make use of the calories, then you will be on the right track to decrease the level of cholesterol in your body without taking any prescription.

Nutrition and Cholesterol

Cholesterols are the fat deposits in our body. As you know, there are two types of cholesterol, the Low-density lipoproteins (LDL) which is also known as the bad cholesterol and High-density lipoproteins (HDL) which is the good cholesterol. We want to eliminate the LDL because that is causing you heart ailments. You can do this by increasing your HDL because it arrests the LDLs that are congesting your arteries. The way to increase your HDL is to eat food that produces more HDL in your body. By the way, when we say increase HDL, this means have its number in the normal range of course. You need to eat fresh vegetables and fruits especially those that are rich in magnesium. Your body needs also more fiber and starch to fight the LDL. Aside from the food, you also need to drink plenty of water to rinse out those toxins in your body.

Another thing you need to bear in mind is to regulate your sodium intake. Use salt to add tang to your food but in moderation. You also need to avoid consuming saturated fats. If you can not help snacking on peanuts, then again the rule is to eat sparingly. Other food contents you need to avoid are trans-fat, animal fats, tropical oils, and others. You also need to take heart supplements like those rich in Omega 3 or eat more fish at least thrice a week.

Exercise, Calories and your Heart

Being obese threatens your HDL levels. If you are not able to burn the calories you gained from your meals then tendency is it will become stored fats. And that is not good right? You need to exercise at least 30 minutes everyday, if you can. Cardio-exercise is good for your heart obviously. This will remove you the excess pounds in your body and will definitely let you maintain your ideal body weight.
