Fun In The Sun Of The Gold Coast
The Gold Coast region of Australia is such a wonderful region with thirty five different beaches for you to visit. Everyone you speak to probably has a different suggestion as to which beach you should visit, which is normal given that there is 70km or sandy beaches for you to choose from. With so much area to visit you too are sure to find a favorite among the 35 beaches on the Gold Coast.
With fun in the sun as the primary activity in this area is easy to see how the name Surfer's Paradise fit this region well. A region with so many beaches that you can actually find yourself alone walking on the shore, making it a unique getaway for all who visit.
Many of the area beaches are patrolled year round and offer amenities such as playgrounds, cafes and burger bars, as well as BBQ and picnic areas who those who are do it yourselfers.
One of the most visited beaches in the area is Surfers Paradise. It offers the best scenic views, as well as fabulous surfing and swimming. Enjoy the water, walk along the shore or spend the day in water. It is the most famous beach in the area, especially among the tourists.
If you head to Main Beach there is some excellent surfing, as well as a changing room with showers. This beach has white sand beaches and side parks where you can spend the day and enjoy a picnic. Between Main Beach and Surfers Paradise is Northcliffe Beach. Northcliffe has a quite atmosphere which give you a more peaceful and relaxing day out in the sun.
Broadbeach is an excellent place to hang out in the off season. Although busier during the summer you will find the off season time at Broad Beach very enjoyable. And Tallebudgera is a great beach for families. The water is much calmer and is constantly patrolled ensuring that parents with young children can have some peace of mind as they lounge at this beach.
