Experience Jamaica The Jewel Of The Caribbean

Jamaica is considered to be the most beautiful of all the Caribbean Islands. The idyllic sandy beaches, endless hours of sunshine and the blue waters have turned Jamaica into a vacationers paradise. More than this, Jamaica is a land of contrasts. Touring Jamaica, you will find tropical beaches and arid plains set among the blue mountains. Jamaica is a potpourri of cultures, including those of other Caribbean islands, Great Britain, the Middle East, China, Germany, and South America.

Jamaica ranks amongst the top family vacation destinations in the Caribbean. The beaches on Jamaica's north coast are one of the best in the island, and offshore the island is surrounded by excellent diving and snorkeling facilities. The Cave Beach and the Seven Mile Beach, are perfect destinations for travelers looking for an active vacation. Besides diving and snorkeling, here you can enjoy activities such as beach combing and ballooning. Negril and Montego Bay are two popular coastal resorts that offer lively clubs, fine restaurants, and world-class golfing facilities. Moreover, Negril and the Seven Mile beach are lined with all-inclusive resorts that take care of all your vacation needs from accommodations and meals to every possible recreational activity within a guarded complex.

With direct air connection to many cities in the US, Montego beach is a popular vacation spot amongst Americans for taking short trips. Two hours drive to the east of the airport will take you to the Ocho Rios, a popular spot for honeymooners. Ocho Rios is a cruise port where you can visit Jamaica's more cherished attractions; the beach at Dunn's River Falls where visitors can climb the famous falls with experienced guides.

If you are looking for some excellent sunbathing facilities and exciting places to spend a day with your loved ones, Jamaica will not disappoint you. Some of Jamaica's top bathing spots are located in the tropical rock pools and many at the bases of waterfalls. Here, you can relax in the cool, clear water and enjoy the scenery while listening to the sounds of the surrounding jungle.

More than just beaches, Jamaica has a number of natural and historical destinations as well. The high peaks of Jamaica's Blue Mountain, the dramatic waterfalls and the Martha Brae River are examples of the beautiful and incredible natural wonders you'll see throughout the island. The Jamaican capital is Kingston which is the center of Jamaica's economic and cultural activities. While you are there don't forget to visit the birthplace of Bob Marley - the grand master of Reggae music.

For those who love haggling at the local street markets, Kingston has plenty of them. King Street is one of the main shopping areas that leads to The Parade. That's where colonial soldiers used to parade, hence the name. After visiting an array of historical attractions, dance the night away at the bars and pubs in Kingston. With so much to see and do, Jamaica is a country that youll want to visit again!
