Essential Things Needed When Traveling To The Philippines

Traveling to the Philippines require some travel documents and other important stuff such as: passport, visa, round trip airline ticket, cash and ATM, and "must haves".

When traveling to the Philippines, there are "must haves" a tourist should not forget. The travel documents are also other important things to carry, which may vary depending on the purpose of travel namely tourist, business or study. Below are some of the important things to carry when going to a trip namely:

Passport

A valid and current passport is one of the most important documents to prepare before going to the Philippines or to any parts of the world. Make sure that the validity is more than six months if not; you will not be allowed to proceed to your trip.

Visa

Tourist visa is also a requirement to be able to have access in the Philippines. However, there are exemptions depending on the point of origin and nationality. Tourists from Brazil and Israel may not be required a tourist visa if they plan to stay in the country for not more than 59 days. Tourists who will be coming to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes may be allowed to enter the country without a visa provided their stay will not exceed 21 days, their passports' validity is more than 6 months and they possess a round trip airline ticket.

Round Trip Airline Ticket

Airline ticket preferably electronic ticket is also a thing you should not forget. It should be a round trip ticket in order to ensure that the tourist will not dwell in the Philippines for an extended period of time. However in case that would happen, the foreigner should marry a Filipino citizen to be granted the benefit to stay in the country for good.

Cash and Card

It is good to bring along with you both a cash and an international credit card like the VISA or Mastercard to be sure you have something to spend when you reach the country. Since credit cards, whether a local or an international card is not guaranteed to be online at all times, it wise to bring dollars and just have them exchanged to Philippine pesos at any foreign exchanged stores. However, it is advisable to be always on guard with your money and other belongings since you can't avoid the presence of bad elements like robbers anywhere you go.

Must-Haves

When talking of "must haves", it simply means the things one should not forget when traveling. In the Philippines, things like sunscreen lotions, cool and flowing clothing, hats, and swimwear are just few of the stuff one can't live without. Since many nice beaches are scattered all over the country, one can't help, but take a deep plunge into the cool waters. To protect you from excessive and harmful rays of the sun, a sunscreen lotion that has at least SPF 15 is vital to lessen effects of sun burn.
