Las Vegas Entertainment

Vegas is somewhat like New York in the sense that if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere especially in the field of performing arts. Las Vegas is the Mecca of live performances whether it be theater productions, musicals, magic shows, acrobatics, peep shows and concerts. It seems that every time a show goes on, it’s funnier, more complicated, more developed, more well-played and simply, MORE, than the shows before. The Blue Man Group belongs to the ‘wittier’category with its run of successful shows. It shows its wit as it erases most of the over-the-top production part and focuses on simply making the audience think with only three men and their performances as focal point. For those who want a taste of the signature Las Vegas glitz, La Reve (French for The Dream) is a spectacular performance set on a 27-foot pool, combining acrobatics, gymnastics and performance swimming that will surely captivate the audience. For those who have a taste for musicals, one will find that Disney’s The Lion King, Jersey Boys and Phantom of the Opera set it stage in Vegas. Who could also forget the famed Cirque de Soleil productions like O,Ka and Mystere that has become so much part of the city landscape. Yes, something is always happening in Vegas, so be sure to catch at least some of the shows while you’re there.
