American Passport Forms May Be Easily Acquired Online

The paper used must be a standard matte paper and not anything with a shiny surface such a photographic paper. This allows for the scanning in of the documents at the issuing office to go smoothly and cause no blurred lines on their digital image. Only use 8x11 sheets of paper with no holes or lines and be sure to only print on one side of the document.
Passport forms may be obtained online for any purpose having to do with passports. There are forms for renewal by mail, lost or stolen passports and issuing a passport to a minor. In this case, a minor is considered to be a child under the age of 16.
The government websites that provide the forms also have complete instructions on how to properly fill them out and submit them. This will include the address where they need to be sent along with preferred mailing options. Many of the websites state that using a trackable carrier, such as UPS or FedEx, is the correct method as there is less chance of a mishap with them and their progress may be monitored.
There are going to be some pretty sensitive documents included most of the time with the passport application. Some common things that are asked for are a birth certificate, drivers license or proof of citizenship. There should also be a passport photo included with all of the other paperwork. These are all things that should be copied and securely mailed to make sure that they do not fall into the wrong hands.
