It is best to visit this place during March to May.

Kuta, Bali. The long stretch of sandy shores in this place makes it ideal for beginners. There is even a School of Surf, which operates mainly for complete novices. It is best to train here during May to September to experience small yet fun waves.

Lagos, Portugal. Algarve, a great town in Lagos, is a great place where to learn to surf. There are good waves that can surely and perfectly train every beginner. This shore in Lagos houses a lot of surf schools including the Surf Experience, the oldest and best school for surfing there.

Surfer's Point, Barbados. If you want a tropical setting for your surfing training, this is the best place to go to anytime. Here, the Zed's Surfing Adventures offers lessons, usually for two hours, for beginners such as riding foam surfboards.


Waikiki, Hawaii. This is the place where you can find gentle rolling surfs. This kind of waves is an opportunity for beginners to ride the boards longer and easier. The waves are consistently appearing all year round and there are a lot of surf schools in where you can get lessons.

Taghazoute, Morocco. There are a number of surf camps in the south shore of Taghazoute where you can find one for yourself depending on your budget. This is one of the most popular winter spots for every European surfer there is.

Bundoran, Ireland. With great and not crowded waves, this place is becoming the new hot spot for surfing in the whole of Europe. There are a lot of schools in here where you can learn the basics of the sport. Much more, the waves here are varied so you can always find a beach in where you can have the ideal waves for your training.
